God had creative power in His Word used in creating the heavens and the earth, and He gave us some of this power (ability to do) as beings created in His image (Ye are gods and sons of the Most High)

Jesus in Mark 11: 23; Job 22: 28

God’s creative power was in the Words He spoke (Let there be light!) He never did anything without first saying it (e.g. Let us create man in our own likeness).

Even His healing power is in His WORD – He sent his Word and healed them… (Ps 107: 20).

  • What we utter are detonations to powerful bombs
  • In every situation of life (joy, sorrow, anger, etc), we should mind what we say, because the Spirit of God suggests thoughts to us, so also does the devils suggest thoughts to us. God is waiting for what WE will say about our situation (Ps. 81: 10b).
  • To everything we think, say or do, let us be conscious that there are ministering spirits, saying YES and AMEN, for His Name is Yes and Amen!
  • We ultimately become what we consistently confess (Mk. 11: 23)
  • The children of darkness know the power of the spoken word, and practice it through incantations i.e. commanding satanic forces; so why shouldn’t we, children of God, use our tongues to speak life and wholeness over ourselves and situations?

Affecting the subconscious mind via thought and loud speech to yourself (Jesus, David). Keep saying it!

Seeing yourself where you want to be in the future, and thinking, speaking and acting in such manner. What would Jesus do? WWJD.

Speaking positively to our spouses, children, wards and apprentices, especially just before their waking and sleeping periods.

  • PRINCIPLE OF AUDIO-VISUAL EMPOWERMENT

Extolling virtues before our children and wards by showing them right examples and pasting edifying visuals/pictures up.

  • PRINCIPLE OF EXCELLENCE BY ASSOCIATION

Fact is that you think, speak, act and become like whom you associate with. Associate only with people you’d like to be like; Godly people of excellence! Like Jesus, always spend time alone with the Holy Spirit.

  • 10 TIPS ON POSITIVE CONFESSION – The Dos and Don’ts
  •  Never say negative things about yourself, spouse, children, job or business even at seemingly unfavourable times – Let the weak say I am strong.
  • Never accept it or keep quiet when anyone, even supposed friends, say negative things about you or yours even in jokes. God knows no jokes!
  • Be an oracle of God. Fill yourself with and use His Word on yourself and your family always. Write it down and recite it as often as you can. Agree with God, not with the devil!
  • To consistently have the ability to speak His Word, check what you hear and see.
  • Play and sing along with thanksgiving, praise and worship songs as often as possible to attract angelic presence, and declare what you desire at such times. The place of thanksgiving, praise and worship.
  • Watch what you say in times of high emotions e.g. anger, faith, joy, frustration, sorrow, fear and desperation, etc.
  • Speak blessings and not curses to all
  • Watch the company you keep – watch what they say or do. Little minds (people), average minds (events) and great minds (ideas).
  • Speak in tongues often

SPEAK LIFE TO YOUR FAMILY

  • By virtue of the blood relationship, the words that we speak to our spouses and children are either life or death; there is no middle way!
  • We either speak blessings or curses to them. So speak that your family may LIVE and THRIVE by speaking life to them!
  • CONFESSIONS:
  • My eyes are now open; that my mouth is the pilot of my earthly aircraft, the compass of my life, the engine and control room of my journey on earth, and the driver of my destiny.
  • From this moment on, I will ONLY speak life and blessing over myself, my family and everything that pertains to me and mine; that they may LIVE and THRIVE in Jesus’ mighty Name. So help me God. A-M-E-N
