The Naira, on Monday, gained a marginal 51 kobo against the American dollar at the official window of the foreign exchange market.
According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Foreign exchange data, the Naira closed at N1, 534.20/$1 as against the N1, 534.71/$1 it traded on Friday, July 25, 2025.
This represents a gain of N0.51 for the local currency against the American greenback.
In the black market, the Naira closed flat against the dollar to trade at N1,540/$1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N1,540/$1.
The Naira closed flat against the British Pound to trade at N2,115/£1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N2,115/£1.The Naira closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N1,200/CA$1.
The Naira also closed flat against the Euro to trade at N1,800/€1 same as the previous day’s rate of N1,800/€1.
