The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife Pastor Folu Adeboye, have celebrated 59 years of marriage, describing their journey together as a testament to God’s faithfulness.
The couple marked the anniversary with a message of gratitude, reflecting on nearly six decades of shared experiences, including moments of joy, challenges, personal growth and answered prayers.
The Adeboyes said their marriage has taught them the importance of patience, forgiveness, prayer and continually choosing each other through different seasons of life.
“We have learnt that marriage is not just about the beautiful moments. It is about choosing each other every day, giving room for growth, showing patience, forgiving, praying together and trusting God through every season,” they said.
The couple attributed the strength of their union to their faith, saying God has remained at the centre of their home throughout their marriage.
“Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home. Every step of the way, He has remained faithful,” they said.
Expressing appreciation to family members, friends and others who have supported them over the years, the couple said they remain thankful for the journey and look forward to what the future holds.
“As we celebrate 59 years together, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving to God and appreciation for everyone who has loved, prayed for and supported us and our family over the years,” they added.
The couple concluded their anniversary message saying: “To God be all the glory,” describing their milestone as “59 Years and still grateful.”
