2 Corinthians 6: 2
In those days, the Romans attacked many cities and conquered them. But, they did something extremely remarkable. It was their custom to first hold up a white flag at the gate of such cities. The flag was a sign of life to the soldiers if they would surrender. That flag was left for some time after which it would be put back in its place and a black flag would go up. Immediately the black flag went up in its place, the Romans would attack the cities and overrun them. Many feared them and that was how they operated. The white flag first and then the black and then death.
Today, The White Flag of eternal mercy is up. God, The Judge of All is calling all men to surrender their lives to Jesus so that they can live. Many do not understand this because the devil has blinded them and they cannot see the flying flag of mercy. Tell them. Warn them. Urge them, travail for them. The divine white flag has been hoisted. It went up when Jesus came to earth, calling the lost to come to Him. It is driven by the wind of the Holy Ghost, flying universally high for all to see. The mercy of God is up today. Who knows when it will be replaced with the black flag of wrath for someone you know? Who can tell whose turn it is to die? Today is certainly the last day of some people on this earth. Preach the gospel. Persuade men to run to Jesus and be sure you are saved.
The Lord is out to bless you beyond your dreams. Keep living for Him by pointing men to His mercy and getting them saved. May the Holy Ghost fall upon you for wonders today.
