The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has issued a public alert disowning those parading themselves on facebook as its Group Managing Director (GMD), Mallam Mele Kyari.
In a short disclaimer on Thursday, the corporation said: “Beware of anyone posing as Mele Kyari on facebook.”
It said a simple google search reveals 25 facebook accounts bearing Mele Kyari.
On his own, the GMD said: “Ï do not have an active facebook account since 2015, and communicate with the public only on this verified twitter account. Beware of fraudsters,” he warned.
