…Invites Kyari to speak at its Virtual Meeting

The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiatives (EITI), a multi-stakeholder coalition that promotes extractives transparency and accountability in over 50 countries, has commended the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, for honouring his commitment to promote and deepen the culture of transparency and accountability in the Corporation.

In a letter addressed to Mr. Kyari, the EITI’s Executive Director, Mark Robinson, commented: “The NNPC has set a good example and could lead in championing transparency for other NOCs in Africa.”

Recognising NNPC’s commitment to the EITI Principles, the global body has invited Mallam Kyari to speak at its virtual workshop on the topic “Learning from Mainstreaming Disclosure Efforts” next month. This workshop will explore further opportunities for making the systematic disclosure of extractive data the norm.

The EITI has welcomed NNPC’s recent transparency efforts, such as the monthly publication of its Financial and Operations Reports since 2016 as well as recent publication of the Corporation’s 2018 and 2019 Audited Financial Statements (AFS). These efforts demonstrate the corporation’s continued commitment to openness in its business dealings.

According to Robinson, “a review of the group’s Audited Financial Statement shows that NNPC has reduced its losses by 99.7% from N803 billion in 2018 to N1.7 billion in 2019 which is attributable to a huge increase in profit from the operations of the subsidiaries. This is an indication of good practice and commitment to principles of transparency and accountability.”

In its letter, the EITI further affirmed its support for the NNPC in tailoring monthly financial and operations reports and financial statements in line with the EITI Standard and Expectations for EITI supporting companies. It highlighted the opportunity for the NNPC to champion discussions on upstream contract disclosure in Nigeria.

Mallam Kyari had made opening the books of the Corporation a cardinal aspect of its Management under its Transparency, Accountability and Performance Excellence (TAPE) Initiative which he launched on assumption of office in July, 2019.

  4. We’ve compiled a list of Zoom-friendly games – some video games, some board games and some that require no equipment at all – for a range of ages and occasions. Whether you want to plop the little ones in front of their grandparents to get a half-hour of rest or you miss Saturday night partying, there’s something on this list that will entertain you for the length of a call. Instead of staying locked inside his Brooklyn home, 29-year-old software engineer Cameron Couch spent part of his quarantine on a remote island with total strangers, competing head-to-head with them in a variety of physical and intellectual challenges. This app is like the previous apps we mentioned where players can play online board games by themselves or with their friends. Some of the board games in the app that are really popular with the people are Othello, Tic Tac Toe, Checkers, 4 in a Row, and chess.

Although not the most visually advanced game, Euro Truck‘s believable presentation of Europe’s roads and cities are nonetheless impressive. From the shape of the traffic lights to the atmosphere of the backdrops, there’s a sense of individuality to each new territory you uncover, and the trucks themselves are lovingly recreated with an intricate level of detail. Owned trucks can be repainted and upgraded with all manner of parts, and as the player levels up, the potential for personalization expands. If you want to deliver more often, you may be interested to disable the 90km/h speed limit so you can drive faster. Also, check out on How to Open Side Windows on Euro Truck Simulator 2. 20. Scroll to main content of the page According to the regulations of craps, the following stage of the game is to roll the dice. The appointed shooter throws the two dice toward the wall or curb. The dice should bounce off the backstop so that the roll is valid. Placing bets should cease immediately after the shooter throws the dice. The initial roll of the game is known as Come Out roll. Craps cheaters do this by asking the dealer for change right as the dice are about to be rolled. Scammers then sneakily place chips on the winning spot as the dice come to a stop and the dealer is distracted. Other Possible Bets Completing the CAPTCHA proves you are a human and gives you temporary access to the web property. – In craps, the dealer is the casino employee who is responsible for all the bets made on his or her half of the table. The helicopter first set the unofficial record in 2010 when a demonstrator model reached 287 mph but since production has achieved faster speeds. The X2 has 2 rotors instead of one, is operated by one pilot and it quieter, with the ability to make sharper turns than a typical helicopter. The twin rotors and pusher propeller generate enough force to fly over 10,000 feet. When it comes to aircraft in Grand Theft Auto Online (“GTAO”) then I prefer flying helicopters over jets. I dunno, in my opinion the map doesn’t really allow for decent jet flights but more so: it’s easier to land a helicopter somewhere in the city than it is to land a jet (though practice makes perfect I suppose…).

  40. Insurance. Insurance confuses a lot of people, but basically all it means is that you are insuring yourself against the dealer having blackjack. After you see that the dealer’s upcard (or his visible card) is an Ace, you can create a side bet betting that the dealer will get blackjack. This side bet is completely independent of your original wager. The idea is to even out the money you would lose if the dealer got blackjack, versus the money you would gain from your bet. Be careful, though, because this bet is designed to lose in the long run. A dealer is only supposed to have blackjack less than 1 3 of the time when his upcard is an Ace. If you get 21 or less with 5 cards, that is considered to be a five card trick (equal to 21). There are lots of variations of blackjack, usually depending on the casino, but we’re going to go over some of the universal rules and strategies in the game. And if you start to feel a bit confused while reading this – well, that just means that you’re starting to understand the game. https://www.dcsportsconnection.com/community/profile/willianrunyan8/ Lightning Roulette In Lightning Roulette, all the usual Roulette bets are available. There are two ways to find a live online casino in Australia: either look for it yourself, which will be more time-consuming, or pick one out of my list where every live dealer casino has been tested by me personally. If you decide to do all the searching yourself, you can follow my 6-step casino evaluation process which I use every time looking for a new online casino. https://crownbamboo.com/forum/profile/alvarodawbin181/ To perform a Bonus Hunt, it is essential to have sufficient Bankroll to maximize your return on investment. You must, of course, know the lexicon of the Bonus Hunt and know how much to bet per spin in order to reach a reasonable Break Even (we will come back to these points later). If you watch casino streamers on Twitch, you have probably seen them do a bonus hunt. If you arrived during the opening, you probably wondered В« How does this streamer have so many bonuses? В». Be assured, we all had this question the first time we saw someone opening a bonus hunt. There are two type of slot games: 1. That have bonus feature; 2. That don’t have bonus feature. Almost all players who play slots with bonus features hope to trigger bonus and win big on that. These days almost all slot games have bonus feature and it are fantastically created with wonderful gameplay. The best thing in slot bonus features are that lot of games have insane potential to hit crazy big wins and this give a player fantastic feeling when the bonus is triggered because you never know which from many bonuses can hit that huge multiplayer win.

  47. Shrooms, or magic mushrooms, are mushrooms containing naturally occurring hallucinogenic and psychoactive compounds. These mushrooms can cause hallucinations and alter the user’s perception of reality. When you take shrooms, you may experience, see, feel, and hear things that seem real but are not.  In the efforts to decriminalize both marijuana and psychedelics, critics have shared fears about fewer penalties leading to more drug use and potentially to more crime. There is even a therapy called psilocybin therapy which involves using magic mushrooms to treat depression or terminal illness. Some health companies in Vancouver, Canada, have recently received licenses and permission to do their research on psilocybin. They are also permitted to cultivate magic mushrooms and create products solely for medical purposes. https://armensyndicaat.taravanhonacker.com/community/profile/anhadcock01237/ Finally, and most importantly, do NOT go start picking mushrooms to randomly eat. You need to know what you’re doing. There are at least five separate toxins found in a variety of mushrooms that can KILL YOU.  You’ve grown your own shrooms and now they’re ready to be dried and consumed—but first things first, how do you know how to harvest mushrooms? If you’ve just embarked on your journey to become a magic mushroom cultivator, there’s a lot of information to digest before you can succeed in yielding a bountiful harvest. According to Victoria News, these mushrooms can be easily mistaken for a deadly strain of mushroom. This is one trip no one wants to take. Maybe we should all just stick to picking morels. One way of doing this, is by spreading all of your shrooms on a kitchen towel and simply letting them dry while making sure none fo the mushrooms is in contact with other ones. Simply change the towels regularly, and soon you should be good to go. Shrooms that are dried at room temperature are usually finished in about 7 to 10 days. Some people also use a dehydrator to dry their magic mushrooms. Want to learn more? We tell you all about this process in our article about drying magic mushrooms.

You also may want to rebalance if you see a deviation of greater than 20% in an asset class. For instance, if you’re aiming for emerging market stocks to be 10% of your portfolio, and after a big market swing, you discovered that emerging markets were more like 8% or 12% of your portfolio, you may want to tweak your holdings. Data provided by C-MOTS Internet Technologies Pvt Ltd Forex swing trading requires a different approach than stocks or options due to the different nature of the Forex market. Because the Forex market is a 24-hour market, swing traders must be careful to choose the right time frame for their trades.

The electric blue hue in this primer is actually meant to amplify your mascara color and make it appear more vibrant. I’ve received the best results with black—it makes your mascara really pop. A. Mascara primer can still help volumize long lashes and give your mascara a great base to make it last longer. It can also nourish and soften lashes as well, keeping them healthy. “For me, this is less a primer and more a daytime mascara,” shares one reviewer. “I’m blond(ish), so I find that the tint emphasizes and defines my lashes with a natural look that fits my lifestyle (over 40, working mom). BUT if I do get to take my lashes out at the end of the day, I can add a black mascara on top and get a dramatic evening look. Just a fabulous product, especially if you are fair and don’t want to look like you have false eyelashes on at a 9am meeting or playdate.”
